The newspaper was established in 2005. The champions of the newspaper were Paul Crankshaw and Thami Bolani. At the time, they were employed at NAMAC Trust, an agency of the department of trade and industry that was set up to support small businesses.

With a print run of 100 000 and distributed in all provinces, the newspaper became a reliable source of information for many consumers in our country. Due to soaring costs and lack of funding, the organisation stopped publishing the newspaper in 2013.

This online Consumer Fair is distributed to more than 10 000 consumers on our database.
