Consumer Fair is offering a two day training course on preparation for and representation of parties at conciliation and arbitration hearings. The course will be facilitated by a part-time senior commissioner at the CCMA and part-time university lecturer.
Dates: 10 – 11 November 2016
Cost per person: R2000 (excluding meals and refreshments)
The purpose of the training course is to prepare all representatives (including NGO’s) of parties that appear at the CCMA and / or bargaining councils on how to present a strong case and enhance the prospects of success for their clients.
The course will cover areas such as:
- An overview of arbitration hearings in terms of the Labour Relations Act
- Preparing for a arbitration hearing
- Arbitration hearing
- Case studies
The course is highly interactive. Participants are encouraged to engage in activities and discussions. Where relevant, we make use of real examples to illustrate key learning points.
